Eighty years of moving buildings.
Williams Midwest House Movers has been moving buildings since 1946. Today it's the third generation of the Williams family doing the work, out of a yard in Hastings, Nebraska.
Gary's 1951 International.
The teal truck behind John and Gary is a restored 1951 L190 International. Gary used this rig in the 1950s and 60s to move countless structures.
Once, on TV.
A Williams Midwest barn move in eastern Nebraska was filmed for GAC's Haulin' House, first aired in 2007. A customer caught the episode again in 2014, and told us about it on Facebook.
In their words.
“We just got our house moved today and Williams — by far the best people you ever worked with. Great group of people; I can't say how grateful I am for these guys. Amazing is all I have to say!”
“No one could have done a better job; our family is so grateful for the job this team did.”
“Gary and the guys moved our house from Oberlin, KS to Cedar Bluffs, KS back in November, 2001. They did a fantastic job, tackling several obstacles in the process. I was thrilled to catch an episode of GAC's ‘Haulin' House’ tonight (3/25/14) and see Gary and the guys moving a big barn in eastern NE (originally aired in 2007).”
“Gary has been a blessing to my business and my family. He has made me who I am today. He is the best, bar none. He has moved 40 to 50 houses for me.”
You'll talk to John or Gary.
